Brother of the villager in ICU: He was fine when they took him under custody 2020-09-14 14:44:05   VAN -  The treatment of the two villagers, who were learned to be in intensive care after two days of detention continues. Stating that his brother was totally fine when they took him under custody, Cengiz Şiban asked, "Did they torture him?"   Servet Turgut (55), father of 7 children, and Osman Şiban (50), father of 8 children, who turned out to be under treatment in the intensive care unit of Van Regional Training and Research Hospital 2 days after being detained by the soldiers who went into operation in Çatak district of Van, are still kept in intensive care. While the situation of the two people whose detention warrant was revoked by the Van Public Prosecutor's Office is still serious, no one is allowed to see the wounded.  It was stated that the lawyers would go to the Van Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and file a criminal complaint against the soldiers. The family has been waiting in front of the hospital for two days.   'WAS HE TORTURED AT THE HELİCOPTER?'   Osman Şiban's brother, Cengiz Şiban, said that his brother was detained in front of his eyes and stated that his brother came to Mersin for work. Stating that Servet Turgut was taken into custody on September 11, early in the morning while he was working and was brought to the village by the soldiers, Şiban said: "They took Servet and came to the village where they also took Osman and took both of them and got into a helicopter. Because there was an operation we couldn't leave the house or were able to obtain any information. And because we didn't hear from them for a long time I came to the city center and called the military command. They told me that my brother as in the intensive care unit (ICU). I asked them how did he end up in the ICU since he was totally fine when they took him but they didn't answer. Were they tortured at the helicopter? We don't know.."
