Investigation against Gülistan Doku's attorney

	DERSİM - An investigation has been launched against Ali Çimen, family lawyer of Munzur University student Gülistan Doku, who has been missing for 255 days, with the allegation of “violating the confidentiality of the investigation”.

	 

	While no news has been heard from Gülistan Doku, a student of Munzur University's Child Development Department in Dersim, for 255 days, an investigation was initiated by the Tunceli Chief Public Prosecutor's Office about Ali Çimen, the lawyer of the Doku family. Lawyer Çimen is accused of "violating the confidentiality of the investigation" by announcing the statement "There is no object falling into the water" in the second part of the expert report on Doku in August.

	 

	Stating that the prosecutor's office should spend its energy and time to enlighten Gülistan Doku's fate, Lawyer Çimen said that the investigation initiated had no grounds in the law. Çimen said: "A 21-year-old young woman is missing. But an investigation is launched against the lawyer who's looking and struggling for that young women. You know that the family was detained recently. This is a disaster. But these acts only make us more determined in our case. I will be following this case very closely, as I did before."
