
 Request of arrest for Şenoğlu and ESP members

	İSTANBUL - Prosecutor requested the arrests of those who were detained in scope of the ESP operation.&nbsp;

	&nbsp;

	Those detained in the operation against the Socialist Party of the Oppressed (ESP) including Peoples' Democratic Congress (HDK) Co-Chair Sedat Şenoğlu were brought to the İstanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan. It was learned that there were 17 people under custody.&nbsp;

	&nbsp;

	The prosecutor requested the arrests of all 17 with the accusation of 'being a member of an illegal organization' and 'propagandizing an illegal organization'.&nbsp;

	&nbsp;

	It was stated that those in custody were charged with political party activities.
