
Attack against the Kurdish workers to be brought to Parliamentary agenda

	ANKARA - HDP MP Hüseyin Kaçmaz prepared a parliamentary question to convey the attack on the Kurdish workers in Sakarya to the parliamentary agenda. Kaçmaz adressed a question to the Minister Süleyman Soylu if there will be an investigation against the attackers.

	&nbsp;

	Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Şırnak MP Hüseyin Kaçmaz prepared a parliamentary question to bring the attack of Kurdish workers in Sakarya to the agenda of the parliament. Kaçmaz emphasized the hate language used by the ruling party and its circles polarizing the society and that leads to racist attacks and murders.

	&nbsp;

	Stating that these physical attacks which sometimes leads to murder increased during summer when Kurdish workers started to go to western provinces for work, reminded that the footage of the attack can be found on social media.

	&nbsp;

	Stating that even though there is a footage showing the attack in all its details, Kaçmaz said AKP Sakarya MP Ali İhsan Yavuz and the Sakarya Governor refuted the attack. Stating that this is an effort to whitewash the attack, Kaçmaz said even though the workers said they called the gendermerie, the governor said the gendermerie was never informed.

	Kaçmaz asked the following questions to Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu in his proposal to the Presidency of the Assembly at the beginning of the week:

	"* As the Minister of Internal Affairs of the country, do you know that Kurdish workers were attacked in an organized manner in Sakarya?

	&nbsp;

	* Will an investigation be launched against those who attacked Kurdish workers in Sakarya?

	&nbsp;

	* How many agricultural workers have been subjected to similar racist attacks during your rule? How many agricultural workers lost their lives as a result of these attacks?

	&nbsp;

	*Do you have any plans on how to prevent these racist attacks that have become a part of the everyday life?

	&nbsp;

	* What kind of measures are taken to provide security to Kurdish workers who comes to western provinces during summer for work?

	&nbsp;

	* What is the explanation of AKP Sakarya MP and AKP Sakarya Goveror refuting the attack when there is a footage of the attack?
