Death fasting lawyer Ünsal released

	İSTANBUL - Shortly after the ruling of release of the Court of Cassation, arrested lawyer Aytaç Ünsal has been released from the Kanuni Sultan Süleyman Training and Research Hospital in İstanbul on the 213th day of his death fast for a fair trial.

	 

	On a death fast for his right to a fair trial for 213 days as of today (September 3), death fasting arrested lawyer Aytaç Ünsal has been released.

	 

	The People's Law Bureau (HHB) has shared the video showing the moment when Ünsal left the Kanuni Sultan Süleyman Training and Research Hospital in İstanbul, attaching the note, "Big are the hands of the people, their strong hands; we love you very much, too, Aytaç"

	 

	In the video, Aytaç Ünsal is heard to be saying, "It has happened thanks to the labor and love of you all, it has happened because you have laid claim to it. I love you all very much, we will win."

	 

	The 16th Penal Chamber of the Court of Cassation has ruled that death fasting arrested lawyer Aytaç Ünsal shall be released.

	 

	In its official letter notified to the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, the Court of Cassation has referred to the medical report of the İstanbul Forensic Medicine Institution indicating that Aytaç Ünsal cannot stay in prison due to his deteriorating health condition.
