HDP: We condemn those who condone the Antep Massacre 2020-08-20 13:29:43   ANKARA - The HDP FMC, which issued a written statement on the 4th anniversary of the Antep massacre, in which 56 people lost their lives, condemned those who organized the bombing, the forces behind it, the circles that support them and those who didn't take measures despite intelligence and those who condoned the attack.   Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Central Executive Committee (MYK) made a written statement on the anniversary of the massacre in which 56 people lost their lives as a result of an ISIS bomb attack on a wedding in Antep on 20 August 2016.   The statement is as follows:    "Whenever there is hope for peace in these lands, that road to peace has been the target of dark circles. The Antep massacre was such an incident. It took place at a time when the most decisive steps were taken to solve the Kurdish problem. On the evening of the KCK announcement of a negotiation and solution declaration, the wedding of Kurdish citizens was bombed. Moreover, this was not the first time. The Ankara Massacre took place right after the KCK's declaration of non-conflict.   Those who do not want peace in Turkey and the Middle Eastern countries, those who want to extend their political lives with bloodshed and war, condoned the Antep massacre. Just like they did in Ankara, Suruç and Diyarbakır bombings. We condemne those who organized the bombing, the forces behind it, the circles that support them and those who didn't take measures despite intelligence and those who condoned the attack. We remember those who lost their lives with respect."
