RTUK's 5-day media black out penalty to TeLe 1 was ordered to stay unanimously in the case opened by RTÜK's CHP members İlhan Taşçı and Okan Konuralp at Ankara 4th Administrative Court.   Court ruled that the media black out penalty would lead to unrecoverable damages. Ilhan Taşçı who announced the decision, said: "The Ankara 4th Administrative Court decided unanimously to stop the execution of the penalty, ruling that the penalty was a direct interference with the freedom of the press and citizens' right to information."   If the screen blackout penalty appeals were not accepted, it would be implemented on Wednesday, 22 July.
