People of Kobané protested the attack 2020-06-24 17:01:36 KOBANÊ - Thousands of people from Kobani canton went to the squares in a mass demonstration to condemn the recent crime committed by Turkish occupation aircraft against civilians in the village of Hallinj, in which three women were martyred.   Thousands of people in Kobani canton have gone today on a protest, denouncing the targeting of a Turkish reconnaissance plane, Tuesday, the home of the martyr Amina Waisi in the village of Hallinj on the southeastern outskirts of the city of Kobani, and killed 3 women.   The demonstration in Kobani was part of the angry mass reaction from the continued attacks of the Turkish occupation on the Kurdish areas in the north and east of Syria and in Iraq, amid a gloomy international silence.   The people gathered in the Free Women Roundabout and chanted slogans against the crimes committed by the Turkish occupation state against the Kurdish people and Kurdish women in particular.   The demonstration started from the Free Woman Roundabout, passing through the Freedom Square, and ending with the Martyr Agid Square, where the people stopped and gave several words there.   At the end of the march, Euphrates District represantatives and women's institutions made some speeches. Stating that Turkey sees death fit to the people of North and East Syria, it was pointed out that the international powers also have responsibility in these attacks.
