
TBB Human Rights Center Secretary General resigns

	ANKARA - Secretary General of TBB Human Rights Center Attorney Mustafa Kemal Karahan resigned from his post, stating that the bar associates in the Defense Walk were trying to be terrorized by Feyzioğlu.

	Secretary General of TBB Human Rights Center Attorney Mustafa Kemal Karahan said: "We see that the bar presidents and intellectuals are openly targeted and terrorized by Union of Turkish Bar Associations President despite our efforts to struggle for humans' rights and basic freedoms. TBB President's sharing photographs from Anıtkabir (Atatürk's monumental tomb) while 56 Bar Presidents were being battered by the police was the last straw.

	For these reasons, I am resigning from my duty as the General Secretary of the Union of Turkish Bar Associations which I started in 2013, as of 22.06.2020."
