'The march unmasked the government' 2020-06-19 12:09:36 DİYARBAKIR - SYKP Co-Chair Canan Yüce participating in the 'Democracy March against Coup', stated that the march will achieve success.   Canan Yüce, Co-Chair of the Socialist Re-Foundation Party (SYKP), told about her impressions on the march. Stating that they have encountered many attacks along the way, Yüce said the march has unmasked the government.   'HDP IS THE PARTY OF THE OPPRESSED'   Stating that AKP have been attacking the opposition, and especially the HDP since 2015, Yüce said the march was started to end this oppression. Underlining that the HDP has been the party of the oppressed since the day it was founded, Yüce said that they are making a call to the people that are oppressed and ignored with this march. Yüce said: ""Let's say stop to this system of exploitation, the one-man regime, this dictatorship, the institutionalization of fascism."   'WE WILL SUCCEED'    Adding that the march will not be their last move and that it is a spark for the oppressed, Yüce said they have been struggling with an inhumane power and said: "Our march will achieve success. We have seen the support of the people despite the attacks along the way. They say we are here."   'GOVERNMENT SHOWED ITS TRUE COLOURS'   Pointing out that there is a lynch campaign against HDP, organized by the government, Yüce said the reason for the party to be targeted by the pro-government media is because they are the spokesperson of the government. Yüce said: "The mainstream media does not carry out independent and free journalism. Independent and free journalists in this country are arrested and put in prisons. The mainstream media is the spin doctors of the government. They are doing what the government says. We are being manipulated by the media and the law enforcement of the government. But if we are being discussed by the pro-government media with this march, we are on the right path. This march unmasked the government. The people do not trust the government seeing all the appointments of trustees, the arrests and the attacks."
