State of Emergency in Hakkari before HDP March

	HAKKARİ - The March for Democracy organised by the HDP and about to kick off in Hakkari was obstructed by the police as per decision of the Governor's Office.

	 

	The HDP had planned to kick off the March for Democracy in Hakkari with a press release and by visiting tradesmen in the city. Both activities however were forbidden by the Turkish police.

	 

	Police blockaded the HDP Provincial building and virtually closed off the city. The police said they were acting as per orders by the Governor. The people and the HDP deputies are waiting.
